Our mission is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of asset valuation, a cornerstone of trust in the financial markets. The Valuation team is responsible for the calculation and verification of prices for several thousand assets across diverse asset classes globally. By joining us, you will be contributing to a process that ensures transparency, reliability, and fairness for stakeholders worldwide.

What you will do

• Support the development of the proprietary in-house valuation framework
• Optimize the data processes using SQL and Python
• Implement and extend the asset price and market data processing
• Implement and fine-tune the machine learning and deep learning models in the context of price and market data outlier detection in the Databricks or MLflow environment
• Document implemented processes and results.

What you bring

• Studies in the field of (Financial-) Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable, with a strong interest in new technologies
• Strong programming experience in Python including TensorFlow and Keras is a must
• Working experience with SQL, Databricks, and Docker or Podman
• Knowledge of data science, statistics, as well as the ability to interpret and analyze data
• Experience with Machine Learning and deep learning models
• Experience with time series models will be a plus
• Understanding of cloud computing and cloud-based technology as well as experience in Azure Databricks will be a plus
• Comfortable with CLI tools and common associated concepts (environment variables, pipes, …)
• Strong interest in finance, high commitment, motivation, and willingness to take on responsibility
• The ability to work independently as well as the ability to work flexibly in a team environment
• Very good team player with high motivation and positive work attitude
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
