Student internship Matlab Modeling

Based in Erdweg near Munich, Minebea AccessSolutions Deutschland GmbH acts as a competence center with global research and development responsibility in the area of access mechanisms. Our product portfolio includes electronic steering column locks, door handles and automatic power closure systems for different applications around the vehicle.
In this position, you will support our test engineering in modelling and generating embedded codes on a real-time HIL system with Matlab/Simulink and also take on your own responsibility.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Develop simulators for various applications, e.g. SPI, Capacitive Sensor, Straingauge and NFC.
- Support with our dSPACE SCALEXIO HIL system
- Commissioning of real-time systems for the safeguarding of ASIL and cyber security relevant products
- Modelling in Matlab/Simulink
Required skills and experience:
- Enrolled in a degree programme in mechatronics, electronics, software development or similar.
- Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and C programming is an advantage
- Independent, systematic and structured way of working
- High motivation and willingness to learn
- Very good knowledge of German and English
