Your role and responsibilities:
As the HR Manager, you will take ownership of all activities related to lifecycle initiatives, including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and development. Your goal is to create an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and motivated throughout their employment, leading to improved productivity and a strong, positive company culture.
To achieve this goal, you will:
- Promote and uphold company policies, processes, and practices, while also collaborating on the development of new organizational guidelines and procedures. You will ensure that everyone understands the importance and benefits of following these policies and practices.
- Collaborate with management and team leads to define clear career paths for our employees, and include specific objectives and goals for professional development.
- Work closely with team leads to identify and attract top talent to join our team, and ensure that our recruitment process is efficient and effective. Manage the full cycle of recruitment actions from job advertisement to screening, from interviews to final offer.
- Develop effective strategies that motivate our employees to perform at their best, and cultivate an exceptional remote work environment that empowers our people to thrive and be productive.
- Establish feedback processes that enable constructive employee appraisals and promote continuous development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HR studies, trends, and best practices to ensure our HR practices remain competitive and effective.
Your profile:
- You have 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar role and/or with a strong understanding of HR processes and procedures, recruitment, and employee relations.
- You are highly self-motivated and proactive in your approach to these activities and responsibilities.
- You maintain a positive and constructive problem-solving attitude while keeping a flexible and open-minded approach.
- You have remarkable organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- You have highly effective communication and conflict management skills, and the ability to adapt your communication style to suit different audiences and situations.
- You have excellent sourcing and negotiating skills.
- You maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with confidential, sensitive data and issues.
- You have knowledge of German labor law and related areas of law, such as social security law.
- You have strong proficiency in both English and German.
