This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for the business development strategy and client retention.

You will be a part of the Strategic Resourcing Division (SRS) where we deliver resourcing consultancy services as well as FSP Solutions. We are currently in a significant growth phase, and you will be crucial to our team and the company’s continued success.

Responsibilities

As Director of BD, you will be the Country Lead, overseeing the commercial strategy and sales for Germany. You will work closely with our clients and build strong relationships to gain a deep understanding of their needs. This position offers a perfect blend of relationship management, strategic planning, and business expansion.

In this role, the following responsibilities are included:

  1. Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive growth, increase revenue, and achieve ambitious sales targets.
  2. Continuously identify and pursue new business opportunities in the German market.
  3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
  4. Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to identify untapped opportunities.

Requirements

  1. Previous experience in business development/sales, preferably within the clinical or Life Sciences industry.
  2. An academic degree in a relevant field.
  3. Knowledge about the CRO industry is highly advantageous.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities, propose effective solutions, and drive business growth.
  6. Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  7. Fluency in English and German is required.

The position will involve independent work, requiring attention to detail, responsibility, and the ability to plan tasks effectively. As an individual, you are sociable and curious, thriving in a dynamic environment and collaborating effectively with the team.
