Queensway Europe is a fast-growing operator of franchise restaurants in Central and Eastern Europe with exciting plans to scale their KFC business over the next ten years. The restaurant count has grown from 10 two years ago, to 32 KFCs currently across Austria and Slovakia. With no plans to slow the pace of growth, we are looking for a KFC RECRUITER responsible for Austria, who will find amazing team members for both our existing restaurants and our new openings.

Reporting into the Recruiting Manager and working closely with Area Coaches, Restaurant managers and HRBPs, you\’ll take ownership of recruitment at the restaurant level to ensure we have fully staffed teams and can deliver an amazing customer experience.

BRINGING IT TO THE ROLE

On a day-to-day basis, you\’ll:

  • Lead the full recruitment process for team member and manager positions. You’ll review applications, conduct initial interviews virtually and in person, schedule additional interviews with the hiring team, and let all candidates know the final outcome
  • Create and publish job adverts and using different channels to attract the best candidates
  • Be involved in Employer branding, developing and implementing the right strategy, including leveraging all social media channels
  • Travel as needed to host open days, attend other relevant events to build our employer brand and find amazing talent to join our team
  • Ensure seamless communication with the Operations and People teams, keeping them updated on all hires so onboarding and training can be planned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for new colleague with a proactive approach who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and bring something new to our company. The role of Recruiter is key for us, so we are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in a similar position in recruitment
  • Has a proactive, hands-on approach to solving problems
  • Is comfortable and confident communicating with people you’ve never met via email, WhatsApp, text, phone, Microsoft Teams or live in person
  • Be able to travel across Austria as needed to support stores
  • Speak German fluently so that you can connect with candidates and can communicate in English
