Director of Complex Mobility and Assistive Technology

You will lead the Complex Mobility division of our business and help to deliver the best clinical outcomes for our clients. Your role will include prescribing seating and mobility solutions to clients and building and growing the team to support you.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and grow a newly established division in a fast-growing business and make a significant impact in the lives of our clients.

Your Responsibilities

  • Be part of the Senior Leadership team and contribute to the strategic direction of the business
  • Lead and grow the Complex Mobility Division
  • Prescribe seating and mobility solutions for clients based on identified clinical and functional needs
  • Conduct seating and mobility assessments and provide expert advice and recommendations on healthcare equipment to clinicians, clients, and their families
  • Collaborate with allied health professionals and clients by conducting in-services and providing education on healthcare products
  • Arrange demonstrations and equipment trials with allied health professionals and clients
  • Attend industry events
  • Manage and develop accounts and industry relationships
  • Assist to implement an education and training plan for the broader team

You are required to have:

  • A proven track record as an assistive technology professional or seating specialist
  • Bachelor of Applied Science (OT) or Bachelor of Occupational Therapy favourable
  • Willingness to obtain: Police Check, Working with Children\’s check, and NDIS Worker Check
  • Full Australian Drivers License
