Pathfinder Recruitment is excited to present a great opportunity for a Project Manager to join a global education company based in Melbourne. In this role, you will directly oversee a team of two Project Managers and be responsible for comprehensive project management, including scoping, design, planning, monitoring, and implementation within the education and assessments sector. You will ensure that all project contractual obligations and business financial objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small team of Project Managers
- Handle all documentation related to project planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Develop and execute project work plans, adjusting as necessary to meet evolving needs and requirements
- Oversee project coordination, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality completion
- Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects
- Identify, assess, and manage risks
- Address and resolve project issues
- Maintain regular stakeholder interactions
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand needs and explore alternative business solutions
- Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest constructive changes
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with multiple, complex projects
- Experience in the education sector, particularly in assessments
- Proven ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality service in a high-volume, time-constrained environment
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and negotiation skills
Requirements:
- PRINCE2 certification (essential)
