Model Maker & Quality Control Apparel Intern
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Reporting directly to the Senior Tech Design & Quality Control, the Tech Design & Quality Control Intern will support in various activities, such as measuring, fitting, and pattern making for Apparel lines.
Job Responsibilities
- Measure samples and compare with tech pack MSMTS
- Attend fitting sessions and make accurate notes regarding pattern alterations
- Cut and sew if needed
- Interact with different departments: Design, Production, Quality Control
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Fashion and/or Model Making
- Have good knowledge of pattern making
- Have good hand to eye coordination
- Have good sewing skills
- Be fluent in English
- Be passionate about KISD Apparel
- Have good knowledge of Windows Office
- Knowledge of Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; CLO would be a plus
- Be able to work in cross-functional and multi-national teams
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Be detail-oriented
