Job Description

Join our team as a Senior Fullstack Java Developer and be a part of shaping the future of our technology stack.

Here are some of the exciting tasks awaiting you:

1. Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems and APIs.
2. Design and build service-oriented solutions on Docker and Kubernetes environments.
3. Work with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and optimise queries, schemas and indexes.
4. Create or optimise algorithms for data processing, transformation, and validation.
5. Integrate with other enterprise systems, using industry-standard integration technologies and best practices.
6. Ensure high-quality code that meets security and performance standards.
7. Adhere to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
8. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues promptly. Ensure timely bug fixes and improvements.
9. Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
10. Propose technical solutions and contribute to architectural decisions.
11. Participate in the enhancement of frontend components.
12. Work closely with cross-functional teams (product owners, other developers) to understand requirements.
13. Stay updated with industry trends, Java advancements, and best practices.
14. Share knowledge within the team and contribute to continuous improvement.

A mix of the following is the person we are looking for:

1. 8+ years of experience in Java development (Java 18+).
2. Strong experience with the Spring framework. Familiarity with Spring Security.
3. Experience with reporting libraries (e.g. Jasper) is a plus.
4. Proficiency in SQL; PostgreSQL is a plus.
5. Experience with HTTP REST APIs and general networking concepts.
6. Good knowledge of modern front-end technologies; Angular is a plus.
7. Knowledge of Docker; Kubernetes experience preferred.
8. Delivery experience within an agile environment using Scrum.
9. Familiar with source code management using Git.
10. Experience with the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo).
11. You are methodological, autonomous, a fast learner, and a team player.
12. Excellent spoken and written skills in French and English.
