YOUR CHALLENGES:
- Develop and implement procedures for sensor characterization and calibration.
- Design, select components and build automated test benches for sensor testing, including technical project management.
- Evaluate and rate test bench performances, optimizing process time and cost.
- Eagerness to assimilate and extend existing team know-how for sensor testing.
- Joining a multi-location R&D organization (Haag, Zürich, Mendrisio) expected, including travel.
YOUR COMPETENCES:
- BSc or more advanced degree in mechatronics, physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of industry experience in design and implementation of (semi or fully) automated testing setups.
- Experience with electrical & mechanical design, and conception of rudimentary control PCBs.
- Experience with PLC programming, e.g. Beckhoff, Siemens or similar automation software.
- Experience with data analysis in Python or Matlab.
- Work experience in vacuum technology / semiconductors is beneficial.
- Negotiating skills in German and/or English (fluent in spoken and written).
