Student internship Acoustics and Vibration Control (NVH)

Based in Erdweg near Munich, Minebea AccessSolutions Deutschland GmbH acts as a competence center with global research and development responsibility in the area of access mechanisms. Our product portfolio includes electronic steering column locks, door handles and automatic power closure systems for different applications around the vehicle.
In our Test Engineering department, you will work on the acoustics and vibration technology (NVH/Noise Vibration Harshness) of various mechatronic components for the automotive industry. This activity can also be carried out within the framework of a working student activity or a thesis.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Carrying out, evaluating and documenting acoustic tests
- Support the equipping of test vehicles with measurement technology
- Supporting the development of new measurement and analysis methods
- Standardisation of measurement task
Required skills and experience:
- Enrolled in an engineering degree course, e.g. mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar
- Ideally, previous knowledge in the fields of acoustics, vibration technology, psychoacoustics, sound design, hearing acoustics or audiology
- Confident in the use of common office programs
- Enthusiasm for the field of acoustics and NVH
- Independent working style and sense of responsibility, project-oriented approach, ability to work in a team
- Good knowledge of German and English
