Our DHL SmartSolutions IoT team is part of the global Innovation Center program at DHL, with locations in Cologne/ Troisdorf, Singapore, Chicago, and Dubai. Our Innovation Centers engage with customers, partners and our business divisions to explore, develop and showcase logistics trends and solutions for the world of today and tomorrow and leverage the potential of our Group.
Embedded in this environment, the DHL SmartSolutions IoT team shapes the IoT landscape by scouting, selection and provisioning of technologies & solutions for DHL and its customers. As part of our team, you will contribute to products and projects that turn IoT into practical solutions and business model enhancements for the logistics industry.
We are looking for you with immediate effect or by arrangement and for 6 months in Troisdorf as
Intern (m/f/x) DHL SmartSolutions IoT Operations
As an intern in the DHL SmartSolutions IoT team you will support us in our day-to-day business, learn about our customers and the logistics industry and get a valuable insight into the Innovation of our solutions. During the internship you will gain insights into all tasks of our start-up like team, including the specific requirements for pharma and medical device logistics, and will be taking over a central role to the success of the DHL SmartSolutions IoT offering.
Your tasks:

• Support the DHL SmartSolutions IoT team in day-to-day operational tasks and projects
• Prepare physical shipments of sensor devices for customers
• Conduct onboardings, trainings and provide support for customers of the DHL SmartSolutions IoT solution portfolio
• Supporting in creating and managing Power BI Dashboards for performance report.
• Perform data analytic tasks and market research
• Design and conduct of Proof-of-Concepts and test new technologies for IoT use cases together with our suppliers, customers, and partners.

Your Qualifikations

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Engineering or Business Administration – Industrial or Logistics preferred
• Fluent in English; German would be an advantage
• Inspired, open-minded, attentive to details and outgoing
• Be comfortable to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Passionate and curious about technology and innovation
• Customer-centric with a talent for solving the unmet needs of customers
• Ability to work independently as well as in group and well organized with a high self-motivation
• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Engineering or Business Administration – Industrial or Logistics preferred
• Fluent in English; German would be an advantage

• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of Power BI or other data analytics software
