Captive Administrator 100% (m/f/d)
Aon Insurance Managers Switzerland provides tailor made services to its captive (re)insurance clients in Switzerland. A captive is a private (re)insurance company created to cover its parent organization’s risks.
We are looking to recruit a Captive Administrator to work as part of a dedicated team who are responsible for the day-to-day support of the local team of captive companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance on Risk and Compliance and accounting matters to clients and colleagues as required
- support clients and function holders in day-to-day business and company development
- assisting other workstream leaders and function holders (General Manager, Risk Officer, Compliance Officer), as appropriate
- Prepare for and attend board meetings, present assigned matters and key information
- Support in creating and reviewing of management accounts, trial balances, statutory accounts, and all other reporting requirements.
- Analyze and recommend solutions on transactions, questions and processes.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned
Your profile
- Swiss commercial apprenticeship, further education in accounting, law or economics desirable
- 3 – 5 years of experience in the (re)insurance industry
- Good general knowledge of insurance industry products, regulations, risk management and developments desirable
- Enjoys admin tasks in a corporate and regulatory environment, with a growing level of autonomy
- Eagerness to grow your level of responsibility in sync with your personal progression in this extendable role
- A high degree of confidentiality and passion for administrative tasks
- Client orientated and innovative mindset
- Mother tongue German and excellent verbal and written English; French is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills
