The Impact You’ll Make

Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.

What You’ll Do

• Develops a supply chain strategy, vision and processes to support the business
• Manages suppliers to ensure on time delivery, superior cost performance and quality
• Develops and monitors key performance indicators to assess effectiveness of supply chain operations and implements corrective actions as needed.
• Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.
• Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.
• Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels.
• Responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials, utilities and outside services, as well coordinating global procurement efforts.
• Coordinates with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory carrying costs.
• Reviews and plans requirements for acceptable inventory.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent with 4-6 years of supervisory experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent language skills in German and English language, both written and oral
• Hands-on mentality

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Employment in Austria

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise, education, and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
