Plant Manager (m/f/d) South Africa

Tasks
Overall responsibility for the management and optimization of all technical areas and associated processes for a plant with >200MA
Increasing the performance and efficiency of all production processes (automation, processes, digitalization)
Implementation of investment projects and scaling of production capacities
Redesign of cable assembly as an extended workbench for Europe and the USA
Introduction of lean management and a corresponding mindset on the shopfloor
Management, coaching, and development of the local department managers
Requirements
Sound technical qualification
Several years of management experience as a production and/or plant manager
Extensive experience in the cable industry, either with a cable manufacturer or an assembler
Entrepreneurial and integrating personality with intercultural experience and seniority
Expertise in operational excellence, continuous improvement and cost engineering (lean management, Six Sigma)
Written and spoken English, knowledge of German would be a plus
Willingness to relocate to South Africa
