Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage core projects to our SaaS community, focusing primarily on annual software updates for banking solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of these projects, ensuring that the software updates are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. In addition to managing the core upgrade projects, you will collaborate with other Project Managers overseeing „on top“ initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects within the banking industry and will have strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. You will be expected to manage stakeholder relationships, provide detailed progress reports, and ensure seamless communication between teams to guarantee that all project milestones are met.

Your key tasks:
- Manage the portfolio of projects of SaaS clients for banking software, ensuring that each solution is successfully delivered across multiple clients and within the defined timelines.
- Manage Cross-Functional Teams : Manage technical teams, developers, and other functional departments to ensure that project goals are clearly understood and met, and that technical issues are addressed effectively.
- Ensure Project Delivery : Oversee the end-to-end delivery of upgrade projects, ensuring that they are executed on schedule, within scope, and adhering to budget and quality standards.
- Risk Management : Proactively identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Project Planning and Reporting : Develop detailed project plans within the given framework, track milestones, and provide regular status updates to the client project managers.
- Support cross-project initiatives : Work closely with other Project Managers to ensure smooth integration and synchronization between multiple projects running in parallel.
Qualifications
- Good and demonstrable understanding of banking technology.
- Flexibility about work content and location, willingness to spend time in our offices in Zurich, Bioggio and Geneva.
- Good organizational skills ensuring success in delivery through planning, executing, progress reporting, controlling, reporting and monitoring of the project activities.
- Excellent communication skills to foster relationships with clients and team members alike, on all seniority levels.
- Problem solving attitude and proactive approach.
- Resilience to stress.
It would be a real bonus if you have:
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of the banking business and bank-related processes, particularly in the context of software solutions and upgrades.
