Senior Quality Engineer (German-speaking)
Our client, a dynamic global bio-pharmaceutical company headquartered in Switzerland, covering multiple therapeutic areas, is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer for a contract position till end of 2025 (with high possibility for extension) based in Bern, Switzerland.
On-site presence of at least 3 times per week is needed.
Main Responsibilities:
- Owning, shaping and managing quality tasks:
- CAPA and NC ownership and investigation documentation
- Audit front room support
- Quality database support (COMET)
- Keeps track on due dates and writes investigation reports with a best-in-class quality.
- Work in close collaboration with department manager on timeline & deliverables. Managing and shaping internal processes.
- Close cooperation with internal departments.
- Create impact assessments, investigation reports and risk files.
- Create storylines for audit front rooms.
- Can defend his work in front of an auditor.
- Manage individuals on their deliverables.
- Keep track on ongoing changes within the department.
- Support the department leader on quality actions.
- Working with engineers and equipment owners as well as external providers to be compliant within our processes.
- Support manufacturing plant excellence at the site by providing guidance.
- Technical optimization of processes and systems / improvement measures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
- Preferably master diploma (mechanical, electrical, industrial, chemical) or equivalent.
- Experience in GMP quality systems preferably in pharma.
- Audit front room experience.
- Aware of maintenance management, GMP practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills at different hierarchical levels in English.
- Fluent German speaking is a must.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization.
- Ability to lead without direct management responsibility.
- Excellent analytical skills.
