To strengthen the Project Engineering Office (PEO) in Winterthur, we are seeking a highly committed and passionate Project Engineer Plant Sizing 80-100% (f/m/d) .
Your daily contribution:
- Calculation and sizing of auxiliary equipment for compressor plants such as heat exchangers, separators, control valves, piping, etc., using state-of-the-art software.
- Global support for project managers and application engineers pre-and post-order.
- Timely and cost-optimized delivery of component engineering specifications.
- Exchange of experience with global key suppliers in cooperation with strategic procurement and evaluation of supplier offerings.
- Technical expert towards clients and suppliers with respect to plant engineering and participation in competence centers.
- Contributing to our Knowledge Management Process.
- Shared responsibility for managing, providing, and developing PEO Front Desk and services and related IT infrastructure.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, process engineering, or similar education; Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Experience in a similar business or field of expertise – motivated career starters are also considered.
- Comprehensive knowledge in static (pressure vessel, heat exchanger) and rotating (compressors, pumps, drivers) equipment.
- Knowledge or keen interest in plant engineering and construction.
- Practical experience in engineering and calculation tools or as a calculation engineer.
- Proficiency with collaboration platforms such as SharePoint and MS Teams.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); good German language skills are an advantage.
