IT Vendor Manager – Salesforce, Workday, Palo Alto – This is a long-term contract opportunity to join our Basel based client in the Banking sector.
Your tasks:
- Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key IT vendors, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead the negotiation of vendor contracts, oversee the contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate vendor performance.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships.
- Cost Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize vendor-related costs.
Your experience/knowledge:
- Extensive experience in IT vendor management
- Proven track record of successfully managing vendors in a very interdependent environment
- Proven track record negotiating complex contracts and successfully renewing partnerships with IT vendors
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software, and services, as well as industry best practices in vendor management
- Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail
- A high degree of self-organisation and time management
- Analytical and solution-oriented thinking
