Position Overview
Our client, a multinational product company based in Canton Ticino, is seeking a proactive Solution Engineer. You will design, implement, and maintain solutions aligned with business goals, ensuring smooth operation of applications like Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Azure, as well as identity management and development tools.
Key responsibilities include leading projects, collaborating with teams to deliver tailored solutions, and resolving complex issues to maintain system stability. You’ll manage project lifecycles, coordinate with stakeholders and vendors, and support the client’s long-term IT strategy while staying hands-on with technical tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
Solution Design & Implementation :
- Lead the design and implementation of technical solutions, ensuring that they meet business objectives and contribute to operational efficiency.
- Manage and deliver key technical projects, including application upgrades, new technology rollouts, and system integrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide in-depth technical support for business-critical applications, ensuring systems are secure, stable, and high-performing.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues quickly and efficiently, mitigating potential risks to business continuity.
Project Coordination & Leadership :
- Serve as the technical lead on project-based initiatives, overseeing the planning, execution, and support of IT projects to ensure successful outcomes.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all project milestones are achieved on time and aligned with business goals.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for software vendors and service providers, ensuring timely issue resolution and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Contribute to the company’s IT strategy by staying informed about emerging technologies and identifying opportunities to improve existing systems.
- Support digital transformation initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, future-ready, and aligned with business growth.
Skills:
- Strong technical expertise, particularly in Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Identity management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and experience implementing secure application environments, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and minimizing security vulnerabilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal operational impact.
- Adaptability to new technologies and changing business requirements, with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage external vendors.
- Experience leading and coordinating technology implementations, managing multiple projects simultaneously ranging from small departmental projects to larger initiatives.
