Senior IDAM Engineer

A large government organisation is on the lookout for an IDAM Engineer for a 2 Year Fixed Term Contract based from their head office in Sydney. The purpose for the role is to contribute to Identity and Access Management best practices and strategic process improvements and promote the implementation and adoption of automation technologies. The role has flexible working arrangements and an amazing team environment.

Key Accountabilities:

• Contribute to Identity and Access Management best practices and strategic process improvements and promote the implementation and adoption of automation technologies.
• Ensure Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) roles and access is controlled according to governance requirements.
• Perform configuration of identity and account life-cycle management, provisioning, and de-provisioning multiple connectors such as Directory Services (e.g. Entra ID, Active Directory) and HR systems.
• Lead Privileged Access Management solutions and functions, including the administration of Active Roles and its integration with IAM solutions.
• Manage delivery of identity and access management solutions including, access and account support, identity governance, and network and system permissions.

Experience Required:

• Must have proven working knowledge/experience with Active Roles, managing privileged access and automating role provision for elevated privileges.
• Hands-on expertise with Hashicorp Vault OR Saviynt OR extensive SailPoint experience.
• Proven ability to integrate IAM solutions with on-premise and cloud-based applications using connectors and APIs.
• Strong understanding of IAM industry standards, policies, systems, processes, as well as industry guidelines and best practices.
