What it’s about
The Private Equity Internship is an opportunity for a young professional with top credentials to launch into a career with a world-leading Private Equity buy-out manager and join their investment team. As part of this internship, you will support the Private Equity Services buy-out team on all aspects related to sourcing and execution of private equity investments and portfolio management:
- Assessing and valuing prospective investment opportunities
- Modeling business plans, LBO structures and investment returns
- Participating actively in due diligence workstreams on prospective investments (e.g. financial, commercial, ESG, tax and legal due diligence)
- Drafting internal investment recommendation documents
- Conducting various other tasks related to sourcing, market research, product reporting and marketing
We are looking for a candidate to join the team in September 2024 or January 2025 for 4-6 months.
What we expect
- Top performing students in the final phase of their study at a leading university, majoring in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics)
- Ideally initial experience in Private Equity, M&A, Strategy Consulting, Leveraged Finance or Transaction Services
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong capabilities in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent teamwork skills within international settings (several European languages will be considered a plus)
- A high energy level coupled with a strong desire to learn and succeed, along with an impeccable work ethic and a professional demeanor
