Associate Professor of Econometrics (100%)

The University of St.Gallen and its School of Economics and Political Science invite applications for an Associate Professorship position in the field of econometrics and statistics. A strong methodological background, particularly in the statistical foundations of algorithmic decision making (e.g., optimal policy, reinforcement learning), as well as an interest in economic applications, are advantageous. Ideal candidates will have a strong track record of internationally recognized research in leading general interest or field journals.

Successful candidates will be actively engaged in teaching across all levels in our Economics and International Affairs programmes. Therefore, excellent teaching skills are essential; German language skills are an advantage. We are looking for a candidate with a commitment to academic leadership and citizenship. Experience in the acquisition of third-party funding is a plus.
