As a Senior Solution Engineering , you will play an essential role in shaping and delivering our advanced supply chain solutions for enterprise customers in retail, logistics, and manufacturing. This position requires a combination of deep technical expertise, strategic client management skills, and a profound understanding of the supply chain and challenges for companies in these vertical markets. You will be supporting the sales team in the presales phase with a focus on qualifying the prospect and ist current challenges, lead the technical deep dive and execute a Proof of Value to win new customer projects.

Tasks

As a Senior Solution Engineer , you will:

Solution Design and Technical Expertise:

• Leverage your knowledge of retail, logistics, and manufacturing processes to guide the prospect through the evaluation phase
• Collaborate with clients to understand complex business needs and map our supply chain solutions to address their unique requirements
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to inform product development, data scientists and sales

Client Engagement and Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations to drive operational efficiency and competitive advantage .
• Manage relationships with key decision-makers, building long-term partnerships and ensuring alignment with client business objectives .
• Lead discovery workshops, solution demonstrations, and technical presentations, ensuring alignment between client needs and solution capabilities.

Project Oversight and Delivery Excellence:

• Oversee solution implementation throughout the Proof-of Value phase, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of solutions .
• Identify and mitigate potential risks, proactively resolving issues that could impact project success.

Strategic Contributions and Continuous Improvement:

• Contribute to product development by providing feedback from clients and industry insights to the product management team.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance solution efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Drive initiatives to improve solution deployment processes, optimize resources, and elevate the overall client experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar field (Customer Success Manager, Account Manager, Business Analyst, Project Manager, Data Science Consultant) with Enterprise/B2B customers
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Good time management, strategic planning, and organizational skills
• Affinity for data science and technical topics – you are comfortable communicating about complex topics with decision-makers
• Affinity to data and databases (Snowflake)
• Experience in the domain of supply-chains is a plus
• Experience in a B2B software company is a plus / product company
• Basic knowledge of statistics and machine learning concepts is a plus
• Basic knowledge about data-engineering-processes is a plus
• Fluent in German (as the focus is DACH) and English (as we are an international company)
