This challenge awaits you:
The electrification of the powertrain is creating new challenges in vehicle development. Ensuring electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is particularly important for the development of traction inverters in order not to impair radio reception, GPS and mobile communications in the vehicle. Estimates using simulations are an attractive way of making statements on EMC-compliant implementation even before the measurement validation. This is made possible, among other things, by using modern methods from the fields of data science and scientific computing.
Your Tasks:
- Tool development for the evaluation of measurement results to support development
- Collaboration in simulation projects that support EMC development work throughout the V-model
Necessary Skills:
- Ongoing studies in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics, physics or related engineering fields
- Good knowledge of a higher programming language (e.g. Matlab, Python, R, Julia, C++, C#, Java, Javascript or Python)
- Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
- Ability to work in a team, commitment, creativity and willingness to learn
Desired Skills:
- First experience with measurement technology or high-frequency technology
Remuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement. The current hourly rate for this position is EUR 17.52. The internship/The final thesis is remunerated with a monthly salary of EUR 979.00 – from february with a monthly salary of EUR 1,012.00.
