As a Database Administrator, you will be part of a small team responsible for maintaining MENTZ’s in-house databases as well as the databases of our customers, both on-premises and in the AWS Cloud. Collaboration and communication within the team are key success factors in your work.
What does your daily routine look like?
- You will take responsibility for setting up and managing databases at MENTZ and for our customers.
- You will work with technologies such as ORACLE, PostgreSQL, REDIS, and mongoDB.
- In addition to on-premises databases, you will also use AWS services, including database solutions like RDS, Aurora, DocumentDB, and Elastic Cache, as well as networking services like VPC, ALB/NLB, and Route53.
- You will collaborate closely with the developers of our applications to support them as a Database Administrator.
- You will handle DBA tasks in direct contact with our customers.
- Writing shell scripts in common scripting languages will be part of your daily routine.
