Team Lead Finance Operations - Payment Processes (all genders)

Your future team

You will join a diverse Finance department consisting of 30 colleagues. You will have the opportunity to be in a highly visible role, leading an international team of 5 ambitious experts within the Finance Operations Team. You will be reporting to our Head of Finance Operations and acting as a sparring partner in shaping and scaling our payment processes.

Your role in this journey

• Lead the execution, monitoring, and reconciliation of payments related to our business model.
• Motivate, coach and develop your team members to world-class results. Set direction and define objectives and key results.
• Identify opportunities to improve the payment product taking into account customer satisfaction, cost-effectiveness and legal requirements.
• Build strong relationships with other departments within the company, e.g. Product, Customer Happiness, Account Management and implement efficient collaboration measures.
• Advance cooperation with payment service providers and financial institutions.
• Bring our risk management to the next level and establish accurate control measures in line with KYC standards.

Your backpack is filled with

• At least 5 + years of experience in the field of Payment Operations with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in a scale-up environment.
• A growth mindset, critically thinking and always willing to improve the status quo – knowing what it means to scale processes and adapt to growth.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make independent decisions and set priorities.
• Profound knowledge of the payments lifecycle, the associated risks and a good overview of applicable regulations.
• High attention to detail and analytical / data driven working style.
• Fully proficient in English. German is a plus.
