The role:
China is one of our core markets at xChange, and as a Senior Marketing Manager, you will own performance marketing initiatives in the region. Your focus will be on owning and optimizing our paid channels, exploring new opportunities like paid social, and collaborating on content and social media strategies.
Location:
This role can be based full-time in Hamburg or remotely from China. If based in China, the position will be offered under a freelance agreement.
Requirements
Your Impact:
- Inbound leads: You will drive inbound leads through paid and social media channels.
- SQL and MRR: Your ultimate goal is to generate a high ratio of sales-qualified leads, leading to signings and monthly recurring revenue growth.
Your responsibilities:
- You will manage daily campaigns across paid channels like Baidu and Bing, and test new platforms.
- You will monitor budgets to hit revenue goals, optimizing paid search campaigns and using analytics tools to boost paid and social media performance.
- You will optimize keywords, ad copy, and landing pages to improve conversion rates and reduce CPL.
- You will create or adapt social media content for the Chinese market, using SEO metrics to boost organic traffic and conversions.
- You will test and refine product messaging for different buyer segments and ICP to improve ad targeting.
- You will collaborate with the Chinese Sales team to gather feedback and optimize campaigns.
What makes you the perfect match?
- You have full proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) and fluency in English.
- You have 5+ years of experience in marketing and demand generation in China.
- You have at least 3+ years experience in performance marketing (paid ads) with a proven track record of building, managing, and optimizing ads on platforms like Baidu, Bing, Google ads and social media channels in China.
- Experience in SEO, content and social media is preferred.
- You have B2B SaaS experience. Marketplace platform experience is a plus.
- You have data analysis skills, with proficiency in tools like Baidu Analytics, Baidu Yinxiao, Microsoft ads (Bing), Baidu Master Tool, etc.
- You have great communication skills and work well with multicultural marketing and sales teams. You’ve worked in international environments, ideally in English-speaking or European companies.
