We are looking for a passionate Senior iOS Engineer to work for our Europe-based client. For this role, we only process candidates that are based in the Philippines and have legal authorization to work in the Philippines.
About the OTA client
- Personalized pocket coach that provides bite-sized, science-driven tools to boost emotional intelligence. Think of it as a pocket cheerleader towards a better, more fulfilling, clearer-minded way of life.
What it’s all about: Full-time position. Swift(UI). Remote.
Your Role
- You’ll help us further develop and scale our iOS app architecture and tech stack.
- You’ll collaborate closely with the product team (content, design, growth) to define features.
- You are the second engineer on the team supported by a rockstar UI/UX team and world-class technology advisors.
About You
- You’ve worked on several native iOS apps. We believe in being progressive while pragmatic in our tech stack. You should be proficient in Swift(UI) and the entire iOS toolchain. ++ If you have full-stack experience, familiarity with MVVM (+others) and can design clean and maintainable APIs.
- You’ve worked on consumer (subscription) products. You understand the trade-off between speed and engineering quality and are willing to borrow from the best. You have experience writing unit tests and testable code. ++ If you have experience with Firebase and headless CMS (Contentful).
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset. You want to be involved in the growth stage cross-functional building process, understand customer needs, and don’t shy away from expressing your opinion and making technical decisions.
