Software Engineer (m/f/d) SCSW Product Engineering
In the context of changing architectures and requirements, we need your support to realize our vision of delivering high quality software in collaboration with a number of partners in a complex system and process landscape!
Your Tasks
Creation of technical concepts and requirements for Satellite Control Software and Instrument Control Software
Software requirements engineering at Technical Specification (TS) and Requirements Baseline (RB) level
Support in negotiating technical solutions with customers, partners, and suppliers
Preparation and conducting technical reviews
Support development and V&V teams
Support system integration testing and RB validation
Creation of technical documentation such as, but not limited to, the Requirements Specifications, Interface Requirements Definitions, Interface Control Documents, Software User Manual
Supporting the definition, development and maintenance of processes, tools, and technologies within the department
Your Qualifications
Degree in computer science, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
Expertise and experience in software engineering, in particular state-of-the-art requirements engineering and software design; IREB certification is a plus
Knowledge of real-time embedded platforms (RTOS, embedded Linux, …), as well as communication interfaces; experience with projects in the context of avionics systems is a plus
Experience with testing in a complex hardware environment
Strong team player, analytical thinking and organisational skills
Quality awareness and application of standards such as ECSS-E-ST-40C and ECSS-Q-ST-80C or comparable (e.g. DO-178B)
Enthusiasm and self-motivation
Fluency in spoken and written English
