Who We Are Looking For:
We’re seeking a passionate and proactive (Senior) Full Stack Engineer (Web Applications) to join our team and play a key role in building innovative web applications on top of our wearable data platform, which leverages extensive data analytics . You will own the entire development lifecycle – from prototyping to production – ensuring functionality and quality evolve seamlessly with the product.
Your primary focus will be on developing small prototypes of web applications that will grow into intuitive, high-quality tools. Occasionally, you’ll also design and implement lightweight backend services that power core features of your applications and enable exceptional user experiences.
Together, we want to create tools that make 24/7 health data tangible and empower developers and healthcare professionals to improve patient experiences and ultimately deliver better care . To thrive in this role, you’ll need a broad skillset , high autonomy , and a get-things-done mentality .
If you’ve successfully driven your own projects – including open-source contributions – and love transforming ideas into real, impactful products, this is the opportunity for you!
Must-Haves:
- Proven ability to bring web applications, along with adjacent backend services, from prototype to production with a high degree of autonomy.
- Hands-on experience building modern web applications with React (or similar frameworks) and deploying them as Dockerized applications to Kubernetes (platform engineers will support you).
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating them into front-end applications.
- Proficiency with Python for backend development, and ideally experience with Spring Boot (Java) .
- A strong preference for lean product development and prototyping – you believe “done is better than perfect.”
- Basic understanding of design principles and experience working with designers to achieve high-quality UI/UX.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with GraphQL , caching technologies like Redis , message brokers such as RabbitMQ , and observability frameworks like OpenTelemetry or others.
- Experience with data visualization libraries and best practices to make complex data intuitive.
- A keen eye for UI/UX details and a passion for delivering intuitive, delightful user experiences.
- Experience managing external developers, designers, or other stakeholders relevant to your projects.
Responsibilities:
- Project Ownership : Collaborate with the product team to define prototypes and features based on business requirements. Take full ownership of timelines, milestones, and reporting, with high autonomy and accountability.
- Implementation & Delivery : Drive the full development lifecycle – from prototyping, development, and testing to deployment and iteration – for your projects. Apply lean product development principles and work independently to meet goals while proactively seeking support when needed.
- Quality : Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of applications. Align quality measures with the product’s maturity using testing, observability, and best practices.
