Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer (m/f/d) to design, optimize, and maintain software that runs our cloud environments. You’ll work on infrastructure as code, leverage automation, and foster collaboration between cloud and development teams.
- Design, implement, and support efficient, resilient cloud infrastructure as code
- Drive GitOps integration using Helm, ArgoCD, Crossplane, and similar tools
- Build foundational tools for Jedox’s Cloud Story (PHP, Go)
- Automate business processes using Kubernetes Operators and other cloud-native approaches
- Enable cloud operations and development teams for greater efficiency in their cloud-native journey
- Develop strategies for cloud cost optimization
- Foster innovation, experimentation, and knowledge-sharing within the team
Your Profile
You are a proactive, problem-solving individual who brings hands-on experience and collaborative energy to our team, and is willing to learn in an ever-evolving, dynamic cloud-native landscape.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
- Strong software development skills (we use Go, PHP, Python, JavaScript)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and tools like Helm/Kustomize
- Experience with GitOps and infrastructure as code tools
- Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Opentelemetry, Honeycomb)
- Solid understanding of networking and security best practices is a plus
