Your role and responsibilities
To strengthen our partner integration team, we are looking for you as an expert in electronic data exchange. As a Partner Integration Engineer, you are responsible for the successful connection and operation of electronic data exchange with our customers and suppliers. Become part of our multinational team with around 300 employees from more than 33 different nationalities in Europe. Diversity is our strength! We look forward to welcoming highly motivated new employees to our IT team, which currently consists of 25 people that will work together in our IT department.
Your tasks will focus on the following activities:
- You are the first point of contact for our customers, suppliers and colleagues on the subject of EDI and punchOut. In this task you are responsible for the connection to our tools and configuration in our ERP system.
- You manage our EDI solution and the existing workflows, including certificate management, and monitor the relevant systems such as databases or virtual instances.
- You independently analyze and correct errors in the EDI data transfer and punchOut solution.
- You are responsible for the connection to existing and new e-procurement systems.
Your profile
- You have a university degree with a focus on computer science or completed training as an IT specialist.
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in working with EDI systems.
- You know all common EDI formats such as EDIFACT and XML as well as EDI protocols such as AS2, SFTP and POP3.
- You have extensive knowledge of format mapping with structured and unstructured data.
- You have basic knowledge of programming.
- You are characterized by a structured and service-oriented way of working.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile.
