Our satellite ground systems are valued by our customers for their reliability and performance. The „Project IT“ team designs these systems and is responsible for the regular maintenance, care and regeneration of the components and continuous further development. We are looking for you to operate and constantly improve our systems. As an IT systems engineer, you are instrumental in our success!
Responsibilities
- Implementation of IT projects in the field of satellite ground systems
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Creation of tasks for the IT system specialists and IT operations and ensuring their implementation
- Designing IT systems to meet customer requirements
- Ensuring compatibility with the technical interfaces in the project
- Direct contact with project management and drawing up schedules for implementation
- Advising on technologies used, drawing on the expertise of IT specialists
- Supporting new projects and proposal teams in the design phase and translating project requirements into IT infrastructure requirements
- Supporting the test team in carrying out tests in the implementation phase
- Taking on the responsibility of being a service owner
- Ensuring the quality of the documents requested in the project
Qualifications
- Degree with a focus on IT and several years of professional experience in the project environment or a comparable qualification
- Broad interest in IT and technology, with expertise in at least one subject area
- Familiarity with common processes and products for project and IT service management (ITIL, Jira, Confluence, MS Project)
- Ability to motivate employees and instruct them professionally
- Overview of complex relationships in the project and ability to present them
- High sense of responsibility
- Solution-oriented, convincing and friendly communication skills
- Knowledge of Jira, MS Project, i-doit and Office components is desirable
- Written and spoken German and English skills
