We are looking for a highly experienced Employment Lawyer to join a leading organisation in Germany.
This crucial role requires the development of effective policies that facilitate seamless operations for our client, whilst remaining compliant at both local and international scales.
Location: North East Germany
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a team of legal specialists, working in partnership with Human Resources and Governance teams across various regions.
- Provide strategic advice on individual and collective labour law, ensuring adherence to relevant employment regulations.
- Assist Human Resources in upholding legal compliance for daily operations and complex initiatives.
- Advise senior management on legal matters related to policies, restructuring, and significant corporate transactions.
- Manage litigation concerning employment issues and engage with employee representatives on labour relations matters.
- Drive initiatives to enhance legal processes and coordinate projects across multiple jurisdictions.
Qualifications:
- Fully qualified to practise law in Germany, with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in labour and social security law.
- Demonstrated expertise in advising on international and cross-border legal issues.
- Strong leadership skills, with fluency in English and a background in managing legal teams.
- A pragmatic, business-oriented mindset, with the ability to deliver timely solutions.
