- System Design and Integration:

- Perform trade studies, system modelling, and risk assessments.
- Assist with the integration of EWIS systems into larger aircraft systems.
- Requirements Management Tools:
- Utilize IBM DOORS for requirements management, tracking, and reporting.
- Ensure proper configuration management and baselining of requirements documentation.
- Verification and Validation:
- Develop test cases and verification plans to ensure requirements compliance.
- Support testing activities and analyze test results for verification of EWIS requirements.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, certification, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure alignment of requirements with project objectives.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience working with Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems in the aerospace industry.
- Proven expertise in requirements capture, analysis, and management.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards related to EWIS (e.g., FAA/EASA, ARP4754, ARP4761, AS50881, and AC43.13-1B).
- Proficiency with IBM DOORS (or similar requirements management tools).
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles (e.g., MBSE, SysML).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
