Application Software Developer (m/f/d)

Danfoss Climate Solutions is seeking an innovative and execution-oriented Application Software Developer with a strong background in Cooling/Heating Systems and a passion for Software Development. In this role, you will be part of the Danfoss Climate Solution Applications, Systems, and Technology organization, reporting to the Head of Virtual System Solutions. We are a global leader in applications and systems, driven by our people and their expertise.

We need your dedicated contribution to combine our Application and System knowledge with innovative Software Solutions. Job Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the development, maintenance, testing and evaluation of software solutions.
• Manage and evolve with thermodynamic expert algorithms at the core of our software.
• Utilize wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate ideas and drive improvements.
• Analyze platform data to understand customer behavior and optimize the user experience.
• Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team and manage stakeholder needs.
• Translate user needs into actionable acceptance criteria for new features and products.
• You proactively drive digital transformation.
• You have proven software development experience for large user bases, including backend development and MDM system integration. Specific programming languages will be determined based on project needs.
• You are proficient in version control (GitHub), CI/CD, legacy code, and front-end development.
• You have an understanding of heating and cooling technologies and their application in software development.
• You have experience managing product backlogs, prioritizing tasks, and delivering projects on time and within scope.
• You can translate user needs into technical requirements and actionable development tasks.
• You are an excellent communicator, a strong team player, and fluent in English.
