WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- You will deploy, debug, and execute project activities related to cloud computing for e.g. CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure validation, application validations.
- You will design, develop, and maintain cloud-based systems, ensuring efficient data storage, observability, security policies, compliance, access mechanisms.
- You will make recommendations for performance and cost optimization for activities related to cloud in the project.
- You will modify, improve and develop applications compatible with existing and/or new cloud infrastructure.
- You ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and quality documentation.
- You will also interact with stakeholders to understand their needs and make recommendations based on it.
- You will educate and support other engineers on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
THIS IS WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent qualification and proven working experience as Cloud Engineer, Cloud Developer, DevOps Engineer or similar.
- Proven experience in planning, implementing and managing Azure infrastructures.
- Experience in stakeholder management and direct client contact.
- Deep understanding of Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Active Directory, etc.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security concepts and best practices.
- AWS, Azure or GCP certifications are a plus.
