Are you a proactive, enthusiastic, and empathetic person interested in numbers, enjoying finances with a problem-solving mindset? In this dynamic role, you will play a pivotal part in financial planning, analysis, and control to ensure the financial health and efficiency of our operations.
Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams for our customer portfolio to provide insights that drive decision-making, support compliance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes in our 4PL environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish clear roles and responsibilities for financial operations within logistics, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
- Set measurable targets, track performance, and lead regular reviews to maintain operational excellence.
- Proactively analyze financial workflows to identify inefficiencies or gaps.
- Lead impactful projects to address these gaps, ensuring improvement by establishing visibility.
- Monitor and control logistics-related expenses to ensure cost-efficiency while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
- Enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and speed of financial and logistical reporting processes.
- Leverage technology and best practices to drive smarter, faster operational workflows.
- Work closely with regional and global finance teams to synchronize targets, forecasts, and strategies for logistics.
- Act as the financial bridge between the company and key stakeholders in a 4PL environment.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reports for logistics operations, adhering to regulatory and organizational standards.
What You Bring to the Table
- Accounting knowledge.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance-related functions.
- Proactive, strategic thinker with a passion for finance and logistics.
- Interest in technological developments and their implementation into daily life to improve team efficiency.
- Fluent written and oral English.
