Certification Engineer

My client based in the beautiful area of Nidwalden, Switzerland is looking to recruit a Certification / Compliance Verification (CVE) engineer to join their team. The role can be described as follows:

Your Tasks:

• Planning and implementation of assigned certification projects
• Creation of necessary qualification and verification documents for the Certification department
• Supporting the Systems department in the design and development of oxygen, vacuum and compressed air systems with regard to airworthiness requirements
• Reviewing the qualification plans and reports created by engineering

Your profile:

• Technical studies, preferably in the field of aerospace engineering/aviation and at least 5 years of work experience in system development (oxygen, vacuum, compressed air), electrics and certification of aviation products
• Good knowledge of EASA Part 21; Experience in communication and coordination with EASA and FOCA
• Experience as a CVE in the field of validation is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills as well as good MS Office skills
• Motivated, resilient and flexible personality with assertiveness and an independent, efficient and customer-oriented way of working
