Responsibilities
- User-Centered Design: Lead the design effort with a customer-first approach, advocating for usability and simplicity in financial products.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and business teams to ensure designs align with business goals and meet user needs.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
- Visual Design: Develop and maintain a consistent visual language, adhering to branding guidelines while also setting new standards for UI excellence in finance.
- Feedback Loop: Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and users, iterating on designs to optimize the user experience.
- Design System, Style Guide Development: Support the building and expansion of the style guide and design system, ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints and efficient collaboration with development teams.
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with UX/UI best practices, trends, and emerging technologies, especially those in the financial services industry.
The Profile
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer, with 2+ years experience in consumer finance, fintech, or a related industry and 2+ years experience with Android mobile design.
- MUST HAVE: Portfolio with case studies : A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, with a focus on financial or complex transactional interfaces. Case studies must be present in the portfolio.
- Tools Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Figma, and strong with online usability testing tools, and animation (motion design) tools that are Lottie compatible.
- User Research Skills: Experience conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate design choices and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
