As the Associated-Director in the Middle Office department, you will be in charge of the Post-Execution team. Reporting directly to the Head Post-Execution Vice-Director, you will be responsible for the supervision of the operational activities and the people management in accordance with your senior management.

Team Management:

• Leading and supporting a team:
  • Fostering a positive work atmosphere where employees feel motivated, valued, and connected to the team and the organization.
  • Promoting collaboration, trust, and cohesion among team members.
  • Addressing any potential conflicts among team members to your senior management and/or HR Partner.
  • Supporting employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities.
• Hiring:
  • Leading the recruitment process with your Talent Acquisition Partner.
  • Ensuring new hires are properly introduced to the team, the organization, its culture, policies, and their specific roles.
• Performance Management: Setting performance expectations, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues.
• Conducting underperformance processes with the help of your Senior Management and HR Partner.

Operations Management:

• Lead the team’s operational tasks: Booking and validation of trades of all asset classes (securities, forex, derivatives) with respect to value dates, creation and valorization of financial instruments, trade monitoring, and reconciliation.
• Conduct specific investigations (settlement issues or reconciliation breaks).
• Initiate and guide internal projects in order to improve internal tools and optimize processes.
• Set up and follow up on KPIs (workload, team performance, and projections).
• Manage relationships with traders and counterparts.
• Assist Senior leadership in the strategic planning of the Middle Office activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years track record in a Back-Office department.
• Previous experience in a leadership role is an advantage.
• Very good knowledge and previous experience in the Post-execution field.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Strong managerial skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve objectives effectively.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills, results-oriented, team player.
