Requirements:
- Represent the voice of patients and users in product design discussions.
- Identify user profiles, tasks, usability risks, and requirements.
- Translate user needs and research insights into efficient and user-friendly experiences.
- Create usability deliverables in compliance with IEC 62366 standards.
- Plan, execute, and document usability studies for hardware and software medical devices.
- Facilitate workshops with product teams to gather system-level information.
- Advocate for accessibility, quality, and usability in design processes.
- Provide mentorship to junior designers and contribute to team development.
Competences:
- Education:
- BSc in Science, Industrial Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, or related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Human Factors Engineering and Design Control Management.
- Expertise in usability engineering for medical devices involving hardware and software.
- Proven track record in planning, executing, and documenting usability studies.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of IEC 62366 and FDA guidance on human factors engineering.
