A law firm in Encinitas, CA seeks a Real Estate Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully handling a wide range of real estate disputes and will be well-versed in all stages of litigation.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience (ranging from $150K to $200K)
- Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and a 401K with matching
- Opportunity to earn commissions and bonuses based on KPIs
- Remote position, will never move to hybrid or a return to brick and mortar office
- 1400-1680 flexible billable hours per year

Responsibilities
- Represent clients in all phases of real estate litigation, including case assessment, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal
- Develop litigation strategies and lead negotiations to resolve disputes favorably
- Conduct research and provide legal guidance on complex real estate laws and transactions
- Draft and review legal documents relating to real estate transactions and litigation
- Leverage and cultivate new client relationships, generate business leads and contribute to the firm’s overall revenue growth by strategically engaging with PNCs and referral sources.
Qualifications
- All candidates must reside and work in Southern California.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Licensed to practice in the state of California with at least 5 years of experience.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and advocacy skills.
- Strong drafting and writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to client service.
- Proven ability to work independently.
- Desire for continuous learning and professional growth.
- Passion for community engagement and building relationships.
- Prior experience working in a remote setting.
- Five years of experience as a senior associate in the legal industry.
- Applicants must have trial, mediation, and arbitration representation experience.
- Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skills.
- Four-year bachelor’s degree and successful completion of law school from an accredited law school.
- Member of state and local bar associations in good standing.
Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 yearly
