Your mission

Are you passionate about developing modern software solutions and want to take responsibility for architecture and design? Then you’ve come to the right place.

• As a Senior Software Developer and Architect (m/f/d), you will develop and design the next generation of our PaaS solution for the administration of our Intershop Commerce Platform.
• You will develop the architecture in close cooperation with the Lead Architect and be the first point of contact for architectural and development-related questions within your team.
• You will design robust and scalable solutions and implement best practices for cloud-based operations.
• You will mainly work with Angular (and SPA as micro frontend) and design the development of our new web application.
• You will support other departments with complex technical issues and actively contribute to our Architecture Board.

Your profile

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable subject or proven practical experience.
• You have at least five years of professional experience in front-end development, extensive knowledge of Angular (ideally version 16 or higher) and several years of experience in software architecture.
• You are familiar with the architecture of web applications and micro-frontends, are skilled in performance optimisation techniques such as lazy loading, and have basic knowledge of Git and CI/CD processes.
• You are experienced in handling data and integrating REST APIs into complex applications.
• You communicate confidently in German (at least B2 level) and English (C1 level) and are comfortable working in an international environment.
• You have an agile mindset and are motivated to continuously bring software to the next level.
