Job Description
What you’ll do
- Perform component mechanical design and stress analysis in support of steam turbine requisitions.
- Execute requisition projects, interfacing with upstream stakeholders for inputs, executing scheduled design engineering tasks, and delivering to customers on-time with quality.
- Develop creative engineered solutions for factory, vendor, and customer issues.
- Apply steam turbine knowledge of design and manufacturing to implement new ideas that improve upon component form, fit, function, cost, cycle, and ease of servicing and installation.
- Partner with Global Supply Chain for the conduct of producibility, quality, and cost-out initiatives.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Some professional engineering experience.
- Fluent in English.

- Prior engineering experience
- Design experience with NX CAD, Solidworks, or similar program
- Finite Element Analysis experience, ANSYS preferred
- Prior shop/manufacturing/supply chain experience
- Experience with steam turbine design

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, The base pay range for this position is $79,400.00 – 119,000.00 USD Annual.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 5% performance bonus.
This position will stay open on the career website until at least 1/24/2025.
