Your mission
- Responsibility for the management and further development of the IT operations team
- Planning and operational management of the IT infrastructure, including server and cloud solutions
- Ensuring system stability, availability and performance as well as data quality and security
- Escalation management and responsibility for the prompt resolution of critical incidents
- Further development and implementation of ITSM processes and promotion of automation solutions to increase efficiency
- Monitoring and analysing KPIs, conducting regular IT security reviews and optimising asset management
- Active co-design and management of projects to optimise and consolidate the technology stacks
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including hosting partners and IT service providers
- Acting as the interface between the IT Operations team and other IT departments
- Ensuring the documentation and transfer of knowledge within the team
Your profile
- Successfully completed training as an IT specialist for system integration, an IT-related degree or a comparable qualification and at least 5 years of professional experience in IT operations
- Experience in leading or guiding teams, ideally with a hands-on mentality
- Sound knowledge in the administration and optimisation of Microsoft servers, Linux environments as well as AWS and Azure as a public cloud provider
- Experience with container applications (e.g. Docker) and Active Directory including Entra ID is an advantage
- Strong understanding of business requirements for stable and efficient IT solutions
- Strategic mindset, combined with a proactive, independent and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills and the ability to operate in an international working environment
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English
