Key Responsibilities:
- Identify energy-saving potential, analyse energy systems, and develop economic concepts for implementation in chemical-pharmaceutical production at the Valais site, collaborating with the engineering team.
- Monitor energy consumption and emissions, perform calculations for district heating network expansions, and support energy procurement and forecasting in relevant markets.
- Coordinate and optimise the energy value chain (procurement, generation, distribution, recovery, etc.) to ensure reliable, cost-effective energy supply while managing energy management projects.
- Lead interdisciplinary teams, identify energy efficiency measures (e.g., CO2 reduction, waste heat utilisation), and leverage funding programmes to realise savings.
- Maintain and expand the energy data management system while ensuring compliance with energy sector regulations and addressing energy demand notifications.
Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process/Chemical Engineering, Electrical, Automation, or Systems Engineering.
- Prior experience in the Pharmaceutical or Sustainability industry.
- German speaking level B2 mandatory.
