Senior Statistical Programmer

We are currently looking for a Contract Senior Statistical Programmer to support a high-profile global pharmaceutical company based in Basel-Stadt, Switzerland.

This is a hybrid opportunity for 6/12 months with the view to extend.

Key Details:

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 6/12 months, full-time (40 hours per week)
• Location: Basel-Stadt, Switzerland – Hybrid (min. 1 day in office)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the end to end delivery of statistical programming activities, including the development and review of SAPs, TFL shells, SDTM, and ADaM datasets.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate programming deliverables.
• Maintain compliance with international regulations, audit readiness, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, computer science, or life sciences; Master’s preferred.
• Proficiency in English and strong communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of SAS programming, including macro language and statistical methods; R knowledge is a plus.
