Your Tasks
Would you like to start your career in a modern digital company where information security plays a central role? Are you ready to further optimize our security level for over 35 million customers and go the extra mile every day? Then we are looking for you as a Junior Security Professional for our Security Governance & Assurance team, which is responsible for the strategic aspects of information security at Mail & Media.
- You optimize our internal security policies and guidelines, taking into account internal and external compliance requirements, industry best practices, and the interests and structure of the company.
- You carry out security audits and assessments in our internal divisions as well as at our business partners and suppliers and compile the results in a target group-oriented manner.
- You ensure a continuous increase in security awareness in the company by preparing and conducting security training courses and presentations for various technical and non-technical target groups.
- You manage projects that improve the company’s security level.
- You create the necessary documentation and represent Mail & Media in external security audits, e.g. ISO27001.
Your Profile
Are you interested in information security and see yourself as an all-rounder and problem solver? Do you have a high affinity for technology and business? - You have successfully completed a degree in (business) informatics or comparable training, preferably with a specialization and/or internship in the field of information security, or are about to do so.
- You have a very good theoretical technical foundation, but you also follow current trends such as AI, digitalization or DevSecOps and enjoy gaining hands-on experience. This enables you to correctly identify security risks in large, distributed IT infrastructures and propose suitable economic measures.
- You have a high affinity for data and data-driven decisions. Ideally, you have gained experience in topics such as data analysis, data visualization, data science or process mining during your studies.
- You are a team player who leads by example at all times. Your commitment, empathy and continuous willingness to learn help you to gain the necessary trust in the organization.
- Your ability to communicate orally and in writing (in German and English, both at C1 level) in a target group-oriented manner complements your profile.
